Restaurant Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff by scheduling, training, assigning duties and making sure the duties are met each shift
  • Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
  • Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary
  • Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the restaurant’s specific dishes or menus
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
  • Prepare order summaries and reports
Skills/Qualification/Experience/Education Required:  
  • 1+ years of experience in food service industry in a supervisory role
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in POS systems; familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
Working Condition:
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, and evenings as needed
  • This position will require frequent standing and use of hands and arms.
