Operations Director - Administrative Services
This unit includes managers who plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate departments responsible for corporate governance and regulatory compliance, records management, security services, admissions and other administrative services not elsewhere classified. Also included in this unit group are managers responsible for departments involved in two or more of the following activities: finance, human resources, purchasing or administrative services.
Ø Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a department providing a single administrative service or several administrative services.
Ø Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services.
Ø Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment.
Ø Plan administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.
Ø Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
Ø Interview, hire, and oversee training of employees in quality control and audit management of contract manufacturers in accordance with North American standards.
Ø Coordinate and implement processes with 3PL in China for shipping to oversees clients in Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Dubai, and others.
Ø Negotiate and manage relationships with contract manufactures and supply chain vendors including but not limited to, packaging factories, air and sea shipping companies and raw material suppliers.
Ø Manage supply chain staff in Canada and China.
Ø Create and implement new processes to increase efficiency and speed to market.
Ø Monitor expenses related to operations including but not limited to, quality control, audits, production, and human resources in order to increase bottom line.
