As an Insurance Advisor-Property and Casualty, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell general insurance products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices.
You promote and sell property and casualty coverage to individual clients. You analyze member/client needs and use your persuasive skills to help them choose the right coverage. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures.
You help develop and maintain business relationships, analyze member/client needs and develop custom solutions. You help develop solutions using your analytical skills and discipline-specific knowledge. The ability to learn quickly and use technology effectively is essential.
You assist current and potential members and clients. You represent the organization and help negotiate agreements with clients.
Upon receiving calls and making outbound cold calls- assists client by applying changes, cancellations and updates to the contract, taking care to meet the client's needs effectively, while advising and educating in order to ensure the client's complete satisfaction and retention.
Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home or auto insurance policy. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
Offers and promotes additional services and refers opportunities to other Desjardins Group partners. Seizes all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers.
