Job Description
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Establish kitchen routine to ensure smooth operations of kitchen operations
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and food safe procedures
• Expedite food orders
• Manage on shift cash flow
• Responsible for staffing on shift, fill staff shortages when needed
• Coordinate staff break schedule
• Ensure products are adequately stocked at all times
• Assist with unloading food truck and manage new inventory
• Maintain records of stock, inventory, sales and wastage
• Check inventory for food expiration dates (FIFO)
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Ensure food orders are accurately portioned and made to correct  order
• Resolve customer complaints 
• Liaison escalated customer issues to Management
• Provide on-going customer service
You must have a minimum of 1 year's work experience as a Supervisor preferably within the food industry. 
Grade 12 or equivalent

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good command of the English language
Some technical skills
Employees are eligible to participate in the companies Extended Health & Dental plans once they have successfully completed 6 months of full-time employment.  Shift premiums are offered to employees working the graveyard shift and bonuses to those who complete 80 hours of work within a bi-weekly pay period.

Please note that we are a 24/7 operation and shifts may change to meet operational requirements including working early mornings, graveyards and statutory holidays.
