Upscale Milton Italian Restaurant seeks an Executive Chef, specializing in contemporary Italian cuisine. Must be able to plan all activities for food preparation and cooking for more than one restaurant in the company, co-ordinate with clients regarding special events, supervise sous-chef and specialty chef, hire staff as necessary, recommend and purchase new equipment as well as demonstrate cooking techniques.
The successful candidate knows current trends in fine Italian dining from all regions of Italy, with particular emphasis in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna cuisine. He/She is able to incorporate and re-interpret modern variation of classic cuisine, expressing the rustic simplicity of these dishes into a fine dining situation. A sound knowledge of D. O. P Ingredients and good working knowledge of finer Italian wines are necessary. Managerial experience is an asset
Our Executive Chef is able to train existing staff as well as teach staff and students of our new school slated for early 2018. Remuneration is $22.14 per hour for a 40 hour work week with two days off.
